Savannah Guthrie reveals who will be by her side when co-host Hoda Kotb leaves Today

Savannah Guthrie only has a few more months with her friend and beloved colleague, Hoda Kotb, by her side. today.

Following Hoda’s announcement that she will be leaving her role on the NBC morning show, Savannah opened up about how she will cope in her absence and teased who might replace her.

talking with people at the Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day gala on Oct. 10, Savannah confessed that she wasn’t surprised by Hoda’s decision to leave, but that she is “saddened.”

“When it happened, of course, I was happy for her because I think she’s so brave and bold and amazing and this mode of confidence in herself and her bright future that she’s writing, and she’s writing it,” Savannah said. as Hoda retreated. his long-time position to spend more time with his young daughters, Haley and Hope.

As for what the show will look like without Hoda, 60, Savannah told the network: “I’ll take it,” when he leaves in 2025, before adding: “I had my Carson (Daly) and Craig (Melvin). The whole crew.”

Savannah explained more about Hoda’s exit today when she explained, “Well, I’d say I was surprised but I’m not surprised because she and I have had many, many conversations about life and what that means in our hopes and our dreams, and I knew that the 60s were a great moment and where he’s thinking a lot about how he wants to spend the rest of the day, so I wasn’t surprised.”
