Minot Police are investigating the theft at Sips

MINOT, ND (KMOT) – Minot Police are investigating a reported theft over the weekend at a popular southwest Minot liquor business.

Investigators said security camera footage showed Sips being broken into early Saturday morning and several hundred dollars worth of cash was missing from the register.

The exact amount of money missing has not been disclosed.

Sips posted a picture on Facebook showing the damage to the door. The company posted that they would accept a handwritten apology and the money was returned.

The business will be closed Tuesday, but said it plans to reopen Wednesday.

Sips is located just east of Dakota Square Mall.
