Austin police are looking for suspects in an armed robbery at a “raffle” store.

AUSTIN, TX (KWTX) – The Austin Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects in an armed robbery on Oct. 16.

According to a police report, the suspects entered the Lucky Lounge located at 11530 Menchaca Road at approximately 3:04 am. An online search of the address shows the business is called Lucky Fortune Sweepstakes.

Police reports say one of the suspects was armed with a semi-automatic handgun. The gunman pointed a gun at a woman’s face while she was inside and stole her purse. The same man then allegedly robbed a cashier at gunpoint, police said.

The second suspect was allegedly the security guard during the armed robbery.

The armed suspect was described by police as a thin-skinned man in his 20s, last seen wearing the following items: black pants, black shoes and a black hoodie.

The suspect standing at the door is described as a muscular man wearing skinny jeans, black shoes and a gray hoodie.

The Austin Police Department urges anyone with information to contact the department’s robbery unit at (512)974-5092 or submit an anonymous tip through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program, or by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or by calling (512)472-8477.

Those who submit information may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
