Disney World Guest Says She ‘Tolerated’ Recent Trip With ‘Zero Planning’

Maybe a trip to Walt Disney World be accomplished without any planning?

A Reddit user tried to answer this question in a post titled “I went to Disney World with zero planning” posted on the subreddit r/WaltDisneyWorld Tuesday, October 29.

“No app. No lightning lanes. No virtual queue. Just cheated and lived my life,” the user explained.

According to the post, they got to enjoy Magic Kingdom park to the max, going for “14 walks and then one of those 4 walks.”

“And I took a mid-day break at the hotel for 3 hours. We went back to the Halloween party so I got to ride Tiana’s Bayou adventure without a virtual queue,” the post continued.

While the Disney guest did not get to enjoy Disney’s Hollywood studios as much because they were “long tails,” they shared that Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park “It was hardly expected.”

The poster claimed that Flight of Passage, within Pandora – The World of Avatarsthey had a wait of less than 20 minutes the two times they rode it. However, they arrived at the ride when the park first opened, anticipating longer waits.

They added that Expedition Everest had a 15-minute wait all day, and Animal Kingdom’s Dinosaur attraction was only 5 minutes.

The Reddit user concluded his summary of his experience by writing that “no plan” was necessary to take advantage of all the entertainment the resort had to offer.

“The point of this post is that I think I had as much or more fun than if I was a super planner. Props to those who can handle the anxiety of schedules, but if you’re worried you can’t do Disney because of it all. planning involved, you still can,” the post reads.

In the comments section, readers expressed mixed reactions, with one saying their “stress level went up” after reading the post.

“I feel the opposite, my stress increases with traffic lights and virtual queues! If I don’t get to ride something with a long wait, well. Maybe I’ll go next time. I’d rather enjoy my life,” he replied the author of the post.

Another apparently agreed with the writer, commenting: “Once you start letting go of the planning, it gets a lot better for everyone.”
