Battle of Murder Creek is scheduled for Friday – The Brewton Standard

Friday will mark the 82nd meeting of TR Miller and WS Neal in one of the state’s greatest rivalries.

The Battle of Murder Creek will be played at Brewton Municipal Stadium with a 7pm kick-off between the Tigers and the Eagles.

In the history of the game, TR Miller has a record of 27-11-0, while WS Neal holds an 11-27-0 record in the annual game.

The first meeting between the two teams was seen on November 22, 1946 with the Tigers victorious in the inaugural game.

Brewton Municipal Stadium is located next to the TR Miller High School campus on Tiger Drive at the intersection of Belleville Avenue.
