Gwen Walz will return to Phoenix a week before Election Day

PHOENIX — Gwen Walz, the wife of Democratic vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz, will be in Phoenix on Tuesday, a week before Election Day, the Harris-Walz campaign announced.

During his stay, Walz will highlight the Kamala Harris campaign The new way forward plan that aims to reduce costs for families and create an opportunity economy. It will also focus on her personal fertility storyclaiming that the Harris-Walz ticket will fight for reproductive freedom.

Details of her visit were not initially made public.

She was most recently in Arizona on Sept. 16, campaigning for public education in Phoenix before events in Flagstaff and Kingman.

This visit will come shortly after Governor Walz’s stops in Arizona on Saturdayon the Navajo Nation and in Phoenix.

Former US presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton campaigned in Arizona earlier this month, just days apart.

Harris is scheduled return to Phoenix on Halloweenon the same day as his Republican counterpart, Donald Trump.
