There is a “real chance” Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins will be ruled out for Sunday’s Week 8 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles after suffering a quad injury in Friday’s practice, according to ESPN Dan Graziano.

The Bengals plan to make Higgins’ call closer to Sunday’s 1 p.m. kickoff, according to Graziano.

According to sources, there is a real chance that Bengals WR Tee Higgins, who injured his quad in Friday’s practice, will miss Sunday’s game against the Eagles. The Bengals plan to go until game time before making a decision, but there is pessimism about his chances to play.

Higgins has 29 catches for 341 yards and three touchdowns in five games this season. Andrei Iosivas, who served as the Bengals’ WR3 behind Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase, is likely to get more targets if Higgins is out.
