Two arrested for cheating during math exam at Matthew Rusike College

Meanwhile, in another incident, two men from Harare were recently arrested for attempting to cheat during a maths exam at Matthew Rusike College in Epworth.

The suspects, Paddington Chataika and Joseph Murimba, 37, were caught in the act of rape following a report to Zimbabwe Schools Examination Council (ZIMSEC) officials.

According to a ZIMSEC representative, Chataika had orchestrated the plan for Murimba to sit the exam in his place. Tadzoka Chirima, the loss control manager at the Harare depot, responded to the alert and arrived at the university to conduct an investigation.

Upon arrival, Chirima met with the school principal, Tendai Mararike, to discuss the situation. After their discussions, they interviewed Murimba, who admitted to appearing for the exam on behalf of Chataika, who was apparently waiting in the school parking lot.
