Bigg Boss 18 has grabbed viewers’ attention with its intense drama and personal revelations from the contestants since its debut earlier this month. To take the drama a little higher, Bigg Boss often introduces twists and turns in the show. The latest contestants who hit the headlines due to these twists were Arfeen Khan and his wife, Sara Arfeen Khan.

In the recent episode of the show, Bigg Boss played an audio in which Arfeen was heard saying that his wife should not be on the show as she is a ‘soft person’. This revelation left the actress in complete shock and the couple eventually fell out. Later, Bigg Boss called Karan Veer Mehra in the confession room, they discussed that the mental coach was deliberately digging up old graves, telling stories of his struggle.

When the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 came out of the confessional, he gathered everyone for a chat. During this, Arfeen mentioned that his wife had been through a lot since her father passed away. He revealed that his father-in-law committed suicide, due to which Sara had suffered many emotional upheavals. Recalling the day Sara’s father allegedly hanged himself, Arfeen shared that he witnessed the scene and advised his wife not to go upstairs.

“Agar woh dekh leti toh shayad marr jati. Wo apne papa se bohot close thi (If I had seen him like this, he would have died that day. He was very close to his father),” said the mental coach. The revelation left Sara Khan teary-eyed. Meanwhile, Alice Kaushik was also seen breaking down as her father had also committed suicide.

Karan Veer questioned Arfeen’s motive behind sharing these stories, suggesting that she was doing it to gain sympathy. However, the latter’s caring nature towards his wife was evident as he tried to protect her. Sara emphasized that it is a social norm for women to take a back seat and let their husbands take the lead.

In an earlier episode, Arfeen Khan had an argument with Avinash Mishra. The two contestants lost their cool and exchanged harsh remarks. It all started when actor Titli was nominated to enter the Bigg Boss jail. Their argument got so out of hand that Avinash remarked that Arfeen needed mental training. The latter had enough and hit the actor for pointing the finger at his profession.
