Clothing store robbery on Detroit’s west side caught on camera

The community is asked to help with the identification

DETROIT – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two people in a robbery on Detroit’s west side.

It happened around 5 a.m. on Oct. 20 at a business near the intersection of Joy Road and Mendota Street. Police said two men broke into and stole from an area clothing store.

Surveillance footage of the robbery can be viewed in the video player above.

One suspect is described as a man in his 50s with a gray goatee wearing a baseball cap emblazoned with “BOSS.”

The other suspect is described as a bald man in his 40s with a beard.
