Dwight Howard Reacts to ‘DWTS’ Judge Carrie Ann Inaba’s Criticism

Dwight Howard he is breaking his reaction to judge Carrie Ann Inabathe criticism of his “false step”. Dancing with the stars.

“No, what she said, I said, ‘A misstep?’ No,” Howard, 38, exclusively said Us Weekly on Tuesday, October 22. “I think she saw that I was going slow, and she thought I made a misstep, that was our part.”

After Howard and his partner, Daniella Karagachdanced a tango to “When Can I See You Again?” from Destroy RalphInaba, 56, said the pair are at “such a disadvantage” because of their height difference before criticizing the performance.

“You had a lot of mistakes and you spent a lot of time this time,” Inaba said. “A little early on, maybe I’m wrong.” Howard seemed taken aback by the criticism, replying, “Take it easy.”

Howard admitted we that there was “a little bit of a hiccup” earlier in the dance, but he thought “no one noticed” apart from him and Karagach, 31. “I noticed,” Karagach joked, to which Howard replied, “I know, nobody but us!”

Karagach said he told the NBA star to “slow down” the moment, which he said he did. “I got the rebound, put it back in and dunk it,” Howard said, referring to basketball terminology.

Despite the comments, Inaba and his fellow judges Derek Hough i Bruno Tonioli each gave Howard and Karagach eight for their routine. After their individual and group dance routine, the duo eventually tied for the bottom of the standings Phaedra Parks i Val Chmerkovskiy as well as Stephen Nedoroscik i Rylee Arnold.

However, Howard and Karagach were safe from elimination this week, with the Bravo star, 50, and Chmerkovskiy, 38, saying goodbye to the ballroom after their jazz dance to “Cruella de Vil” of 101 Dalmatians.

When it comes to their partnership, Howard credited Karagach for always telling him the truth. “The magic thing about my partner is that he’s the most honest person, and that’s the best thing,” she told Us. “Honesty is always the best policy, and I love that. You know, she always tells the truth and she’s always honest. When you have a partner like that, you can show up and give them full confidence.”

Karagach, meanwhile, called Howard “the best person.” He added, “He’s always very positive. So if you’re not in a good mood, Dwight will always put you in a good mood.”
