Talbot said she and her colleagues “break down” a script after receiving it before chatting with the film’s director to get a sense of his “creative vision.”

“A script doesn’t always tell you everything,” he continued. “It will leave a lot to the imagination. However, the director will have a clear idea of ​​what that looks like.

“We’ll then train each movement in the scene the same way you would for a safe slap or punch.”
