FORT WAYNE – Thecharitybuild.org is presenting a vintage VW 2.1 liter Porsche engine at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the Lighthouse Community Center, 3000 E. State Blvd.

The refurbished engine will eventually be placed into a fully restored frame to create a one-of-a-kind vintage buggy that will be auctioned off at Mecum Auctions with 100% of the proceeds going to The Lighthouse for its community programs.

This free presentation event is open to the public to participate and explore the unique way thecharitybuild.org supports charitable work in our community and around the world.

At the event, there will be unrestored parts, restoration tools, the fully restored vintage Porsche 2.1 liter engine, the unrestored dune buggy frame and videos about the restoration process.
