Here’s what you can expect from the upcoming flagship

OnePlus has officially announced that its upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, will debut on October 31 in China. Alongside the release date, the company gave a sneak peek at the design and features of the much-awaited device.

OnePlus 13 design

The OnePlus 13 features a refreshed design with a flat screen and a more angular octagonal frame. The rear panel has been updated, with a circular camera module similar to previous models. A notable addition is the Hasselblad logo, now embossed on the right side of the camera setup, sitting above a sleek metal strip that spans the width of the phone. The flat metal frame of the phone adds to its modern and bold look.

Images of the OnePlus 13, posted on the company’s Chinese website, reveal three color options: White Dew Dawn, Blue Moment, and Obsidian Secret Realm (black). The volume and power buttons are on the right side, while the signature alert slider remains on the left.

OnePlus 13 Specs, Features (Expected)

The OnePlus 13 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and will introduce magnetic wireless charging, drawing comparisons to Apple’s MagSafe system. The phone will also feature a high-end display from BOE, with a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO technology to adjust the dynamic refresh rate.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the OnePlus 13’s impressive camera setup, which includes a 50MP Sony LYT 808 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), along with ultra-large and 50MP telephoto lenses. Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery, which uses the company’s innovative Glacier Battery technology to extend battery life.

On the software side, the OnePlus 13 will be the first device to feature OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15, marking another milestone for the brand. A global launch is expected later this year.
