Dhaka police have arrested a former Bangladeshi minister involved in an ongoing large-scale investigation involving the country’s manpower agencies sending workers to Malaysia.

Bangladeshi media The Business Standard reported that Imran Ahmed, a former minister in charge of expatriate welfare and overseas employment, had been detained by local police on Monday.
