NFL legend Bill Belichick, 72, plans to propose to girlfriend Jordan Hudson, 24.

The pair have been photographed together in the US on numerous occasions after their relationship was revealed in June. Belichick split from long-term girlfriend Linda Holliday last year, after getting back together in 2007.

Belichick and Hudson’s relationship seems to be moving in the right direction at a breakneck pace, with marriage seemingly on the cards.

according to The SunBelichick has been visiting boutiques in New York and Los Angeles to look for an engagement ring. The six-time Super Bowl-winning coach has visited ‘about 20’ different stores in hopes of proposing to his girlfriend.

Belichick has been considering marrying Hudson for about two months now and has even talked at length with his friends about the best way to propose and the ideal places to take Hudson for their romantic moment.

With the NFL season underway, with Belichick parting ways with the Patriots in January after a disappointing 4-13 season, the coaching legend is waiting for the campaign to wrap up before bringing Hudson out to propose.

Despite the 48-year age difference, Belichick feels “carried and understood” by Hudson and is researching how much he should spend on an engagement ring to make sure it’s a special moment for the couple. He is reportedly considering paying £135,764 ($200,000) on a shiny new ring for Hudson.

Belichick is said to have narrowed his options down to two rings as it stands and is now looking to take Hudson on a romantic trip to the French Riviera, Italy, and then back to Croatia. He hopes that the holidays will end with a successful proposal.
