Intoxicated girlfriend arrested in jealous phone battle

A drunk Summerfield woman was arrested after a jealous battle broke out when her boyfriend refused to show her the contents of his phone.

Amber Marie Mulliner, 37, faces two felony charges after allegedly attacking her boyfriend and ripping off his shirt Wednesday night, according to an arrest report from the County Sheriff’s Office. marion

The boyfriend, who said he has been dating Mulliner since July 12, said he “had been drinking most of the night” and started “yelling at her” because she wouldn’t show him her phone, according to the report Her refusal to reveal the contents of her phone prompted her to push and scratch it. She proceeded to rip his shirt off as he tried to get away from her.

The man provided officers with surveillance from his internal camera. It showed Mulliner trying to break down the man’s bedroom door and throwing a full-sized chair in his direction.

She was arrested on charges of grievous bodily harm and assault. She was booked into the Marion County Jail and released after posting $2,000 bond.

She was previously convicted of assault in 2018 and 2019 in Citrus County.
