Marius Borg Høiby, son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, denies accusations of assaulting two former girlfriends

Marius Borg Høiby, son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, denies accusations of assaulting two former girlfriends

It was after that initial arrest on August 4 that Snekkestad, who dated Borg Høiby from 2018 to 2022, spoke for the first time about her relationship with the crown princess’s son. Snekkestad claimed that she “(couldn’t) remain silent any longer” after being subjected to “psychological and physical violence” by Borg Høiby.

In the days since, Haukland, who dated the crown princess’s son between 2022 and 2023, also claimed he “punched, choked and kicked” her while they were in a relationship. according to Se og Hør, Haukland posted a video clip, in which he spoke of his “frustration” at what he claimed was a repeated pattern of behavior.

“I thought I’d keep my mouth shut until my ex’s statement came out, and then I felt a great sense of frustration. Marius speaks as if it’s the first time it’s happened. He asks for some kind of empathy: “I’m going to get help, I’m struggling, my girlfriend’ and all of that sounded very familiar to him. He also said that I should get help when I leave him,” he said, according to the outlet.

He added: “Marius has been physical with me. He’s punched me in the face. He’s kicked me, he’s choked me, he’s trashed my flat. Then Haukland thanked Snekkestad his “strength”.

In the midst of these claims, cases and custody interviews, Crown Prince Haakon told the press that “It’s a serious matter when the police are involved in their way of being, but at the same time it’s not right for them to get into the details of the case.’ Another newer member of the royal family has also given his opinion on the turn of events.

Durek Verrett, who married into the Norwegian royal family this year, has said he cannot help Borg Høiby, despite his supposed shamanic healing powers.
