Pregnant Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi ‘always’ away ahead of second child’s birth

Pregnant Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi ‘always’ away ahead of second child’s birth

Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is busy building an empire to support his wife and children, but his busy career comes with drawbacks.

In a new interview with The Financial TimesEdoardo has explained that his work takes him away from his wife, three-year-old daughter Sienna, and eight-year-old son Wolfie, who he shares with his ex, Dara Huang.

Speaking about how his career takes him away from his and Princess Beatrice’s home in the Cotswolds, Edoardo said he is “always on a train” between design projects, as well as traveling on antiquing trips and auctions in Belgium, France and Italy.

Having a stable base for his family is key for the father-of-two, who moved house several times during his childhood, and home interiors are also crucial, with Edoardo saying: “Design is important to to your emotional state.”

Why is Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi so busy?

Ambitious Edoardo is the founder of the real estate practice Banda, founded in 2007 when he was only 23 years old. The company has recently completed a collection of terraced houses in London’s highly sought-after Leinster Square in Bayswater.

In addition to the London projects, Banda also operates in New Delhi, Milan, the Alps, LA and the Hamptons, a very large portfolio!

Not content with ownership, Edoardo has also recently launched Banda Gallery, a shoppable curation of art, furniture and homeware, of which he says: “This is just the beginning.”

The family life of Edoardo and Princess Beatrice

Although Edoardo travels far and wide for work, we suspect he’s happiest at home with his wife and growing family.

They bought a large farmhouse in the Cotswolds in 2021, it is estimated to be worth around £3.5 million.

The farmhouse has six bedrooms and multiple reception rooms, as well as a guest house converted into a separate outbuilding, ideal for when Princess Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, wants to visit.

Although fall is upon us, the property is perfect for summer, with an outdoor pool and plenty of space for entertaining.

Edoardo’s parents are also said to reside in the Cotswolds, so the pair are close to Sienna and Wolfie’s paternal grandparents.

Before moving to the countryside, Beatrice and Edoardo lived in an apartment in the Palau de Sant Jaume, where they can still stay when they are in the capital for work or public engagements.
