Coronation Street enthusiasts have just discovered that a beloved soap actor once shared the screen with pop sensation Taylor Swift in a major Hollywood film. Peter Gunn, who is best known for his role as Brian Packham in the ITV soap since 2010, has been the talk of the town recently.

Interestingly, he not only shared the screen with Taylor Swift but also with Miley Cyrus. In 2009, Peter appeared in Hannah Montana: The Movie, a spin-off of the Disney Channel series of the same name.

In the film, which grossed over $150 million at the box office, Peter played journalist Oswald Granger. His character was determined to uncover a story about pop superstar Hannah, played by Miley Cyrus, reports the Liverpool Echo.

In 2019, Peter spoke about his Hollywood film experience during an appearance on the Sofa Cinema Club podcast. He revealed what it was like to work with not only Miley, but also Taylor Swift.

Surprisingly, some of Peter’s Coronation Street fans are just making the connection between him and his role in the Hollywood film.
