Tom Holland is tickling our Spidey senses!

The 28-year-old actor sat down with Rich Roll for a wide-ranging conversation on the new episode of Roll’s weekly podcast, which aired Thursday, October 17, where he revealed that he and his girlfriend/Spider-Man Franchise co-star Zendaya has read a first draft of a fourth film.

“We have a creative draft and a draft and a draft, which is great; it needs work, but the writers are doing a great job,” Holland said. “I read it three weeks ago. And it really set me on fire. Zendaya and I sat down and read it together. And sometimes we were like, bouncing around the living room. Like, ‘This is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect.” “

“There are some things we have to figure out before we can actually do it, but it’s exciting. And I’m very, very excited,” he added in the conversation, which also focused on his new alcohol-free product. Bero beer line.

Although Holland did not give any details about the plot of the fourth film, which would come later Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), pondered how he would fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Obviously, one of the things to keep in mind with Marvel is that your movie is a small cog in a big machine,” he explained. “And that machine has to keep going, and you have to make sure you can fit into that timeline at the right time to benefit the bigger picture.”

“So that’s one of the challenges we face,” he continued unexploredactor “And the time frame in which we have to do that is very complicated, but definitely achievable with the fantastic new people we have working there now.”

Holland first appeared in the MCU as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in 2016 Captain America: Civil Warbefore directing the aforementioned three independent films. He also played the fan-favorite teenage superhero Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and its 2019 sequel, Avengers: Endgame.

Holland previously spoke about the future of the Spider-Man saga with Deadline in April, during the third Sands International Film Festival in St Andrews, Scotland.

“We’ve got the best in the business working on whatever the story is. But until we’ve cracked it, we’ve got a legacy to protect,” he said after a possible fourth film No Way Manwhich he described as “so special in so many ways that we have to make sure we do the right thing.”

“This is the first time in this process that I am part of the creative so early. It’s just a process where I’m watching and learning. “It’s a really fun stage for me,” Holland continued. “Like I said, everybody wants it to happen. But we want to make sure we’re not exaggerating the same things.”

While the cherry the actor called his previous answer a “complicated” version, “The simple answer is that I will always want to Spider-Man films”.

“I owe him my life and career Spider-Man. So the simple answer is yes. I always want to do more,” she said Deadline.
