The ARC announces the temporary closure of four facilities

LOUISA, Ky. (WYMT) – Four addiction recovery center facilities are temporarily closing due to looming and major cuts to Medicaid reimbursements affecting mental health and addiction services. Officials with Addiction Recovery Services (ARC) made the announcement Wednesday.

The four facilities include the Sanibel facility in Catlettsburg, Lake Hill Oasis in Somerset, Beth’s Blessing in Tyner and Belle Grove Springs in Wallingford.

“These decisions were not made lightly, and we are dedicated to supporting our team members and the communities affected by these changes,” said Vanessa Keeton, ARC’s vice president of marketing. “Above all, the safety and care of our customers remains our highest priority. We are still available 24/7/365 for patients and families in need.”

ARC officials said addiction treatment and mental health providers across the state will be affected by the impending industry-wide reimbursement cuts.
