ZA Leak Reveals More Pokemon in the Game

A new Pokémon Legends: ZA leak has revealed more Pokémon in the game and a returning Pokémon Legends: Arceus feature. Last week, Pokemon developer Game Freak was the subject of a massive server hack, which in turn leaked a metric ton of information from the private company, including private files. The result of this was new information about Pokemon games of old, Pokemon games of the present, and Pokemon games of the future.

The leaks included information about Pokémon Legends: ZA, some of which we previously relayed. The first leak about Pokemon Legends: ZA was word that the Mega Evolutions were back. And this tied to the first two Pokémon in the game was leaked. More specifically, Mega Zygarde and Mega Zeraora were leaked.

Now, it has been relayed, via Centro Leaks, that Stunfisk is also in the game, a Ground/Electric type that debuted in Generation V, in Pokémon Black and White. Although Stunfisk has some regional forms (Unovan Stunfisk or Galarian Stunfisk), it has no evolution.

Other new information includes word that the sparkling sound from Pokémon Legends: Arceus has returned to Pokémon Legends: ZA. Finally, the game is said to be currently in a delayed, but “very nice” state. The former is to be expected considering the game is in active development.

This is the end of the new information about the game. Of course, what’s in here should be taken with a grain of salt. While the validity of the leak is not disputed, it’s still just a leak. In other words, this is not official news.

Also, even if Stunfisk is in the game, and the shiny sound of Pokémon Legends: Arceus is too, that could change over the course of development, as many things in game development often do. That said, the game is very far in development, set for release next year. In fact, leaks reveal that it was once slated to launch this year. Because of this, we don’t suspect much of a game changer between now and then unless Game Freak goes back to the drawing board entirely due to these leaks, but that seems highly unlikely.
