Kota Ibushi Reveals Kenny Omega’s Return Date

Kenny Omega underwent diverticulitis surgery earlier this year and is currently on the road to recovery, needing to regain fitness and training to return to the ring at the highest level.

Omega recently began training with his Golden Lovers partner, Kota Ibushi, and the two are preparing for their long-awaited AEW return.

During a recent appearance on Yuji Nagata’s YouTube channel, Ibushi shared an update on Omega’s return to the ring.

Ibushi revealed that he will “It will take another two or three months” before the former AEW World Champion can return to action.

However, Ibushi also mentioned that Omega was also unsure of his return and that he was struggling with some issues.
