The wild story of a crazy woman and man who agreed to be her sperm donor goes viral

A Tennessee man is taking his mother to court after he claims she tricked him into believing a little girl was his and forced him to pay child support.

Brett Fairley, 27, of Nashville, Tenn., posted a now-viral TikTok in which he explained that the woman, whom he named Maria Nguyen, asked him to get her pregnant because she wanted a child and “had bad luck with love”.

Nguyen, whom she met in her Mississippi hometown, told her that she shouldn’t “take any responsibility” and that she could basically be a sperm donor, she claimed.

“At first I thought, ‘No,’ but after some time to think about it, I thought it would be the right thing for someone who was struggling,” he said in the video.

The pair signed an “iron deal”, according to the 27-year-old. After successfully getting pregnant through intercourse, she returned to California, but her family stayed in touch with the mother-to-be and encouraged her to be in her daughter’s life.

Before his daughter was born, he got a tattoo of her middle name “love” and flew home to be there when she arrived, he said.

After the birth, she said Nguyen wanted to be a family and showed text messages between the couple, where she reportedly said: “I want to try to make this work with us being a family? Can we do it? I want to be with you brett

He replied, “I’m sorry, but that’s not what I want to do.”

“That hurts,” she replied.

She later contacted him to say she needed a place to stay for two months while she worked on getting her own place, and he let her live in his Airbnb for “several months rent-free.” .

Fairley, who flips houses for a living, returned home frequently to visit her daughter and was posted several times on Nguyen’s Facebook page, the video showed.

Things changed after Fairley refused to wear matching Halloween costumes for a year and “wouldn’t let me see my daughter for a while,” she claims in the video.

The distraught father had many arguments with his mother, who did not let him see his daughter at various times, such as when she did not want to wear matching Halloween costumes and when she had a girlfriend.

He eventually moved to Nashville and at one point drove 14 hours round trip to attend his daughter’s baptism, but Nguyen wouldn’t let him attend because he refused to see her the night before.

After that, she filed for child support, requiring him to pay $10,000 up front and $750 a month thereafter.

This allowed her to start seeing her daughter regularly, but things changed once more once Fairley got a girlfriend, even though she had a boyfriend herself, she claimed.

“When I offered Maria and my girlfriend to meet each other so that they would be comfortable with my daughter, she immediately said no and called my girlfriend a word that rhymes with task,” he stated in the video.

Nguyen then made a “public post” calling Fairley a “deadbeat dad,” claiming he hadn’t seen his daughter in weeks, despite claiming she was the boy’s daughter days earlier.

He also refused to allow the father to spend Father’s Day with his daughter.

After all the hassle, Fairley recently discovered that his daughter is not actually his, he claimed, showing a paternity report that claims the child is “zero percent” related to him.

“I don’t know who the father is, but I’ve had two paternity tests and both say (I’m not the father),” he said in the five-minute video. “I believed Maria when she said that I was the only possible father. The situation was strange, but I was always happy to be a father.”

“Maria, I allowed you to paint me as the villain and you as the victim for years to keep the peace,” he said, “but I hope you know that the only victim here is your son,” the video concluded.

He claimed the woman already knew she was pregnant when she made the deal with Fairley and the distraught father “didn’t think this was something anyone would lie about”.

She captioned the video: “See you in court Maria.”

He also posted a video where the alleged Maria showed the mother crying claiming that the data from her paternity test collection was taken on August 10, 2024 and that she had it. He then showed a video from his phone of his daughter playing on August 10.

DailyMail.com has contacted Fairley for comment. It appears that Nguyen deleted his social media pages.
