Mike Tyson has spoken about the Diddy drama During an interview with the Daily Mail, he expressed his best wishes for his longtime friend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Tyson and Diddy have been friends for decades, and the duo have often been seen together at high-profile events. Like many fans, Tyson’s name has also been linked to the troubled CEO of Bad Boy Records, after he was arrested on charges of racism i sex trafficking.
Tyson has also been seen at Diddy’s infamous parties, however, it remains unclear if he or any other stars who attended Diddy’s previous parties were involved in any alleged illegal activity.
When informed by the Daily Mail that his name was linked to the Diddy drama, the retired heavyweight appeared surprised. “Wait, am I synonymous with Diddy? Well, that’s great,” Tyson replied. “I never knew.”
But when asked if he had anything to say, Tyson replied: “I wish him the best. In life, I wish him the best.”
She also opened up about her party days with the music mogul,
Tyson talked about their friendship in a podcast interview last year, jokingly calling him “Sugar Diddy.”
“I remember I used to have boxes when I was at my after parties and stuff. Also when they had parties,” Tyson shared. When Bet-David said that “so many people in music and Hollywood were afraid of this ‘Diddy’ guy, like he was untouchable,” the boxer replied: “Oh, sugar Diddy.”
The judge denied Diddy’s bail request for the third time during a hearing in Manhattan court on Thursday. The troubled music mogul, 54, has been incarcerated at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center since Sept. 17 and will remain there until his May 5, 2025, trial date.
Diddy was arrested on September 16 and currently faces charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution. More than 120 alleged victims, including ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, have come forward, but Diddy is pleading not guilty.
