Newburgh man charged with theft in Hopkins County

HOPKINS CO., Ky. (WFIE) – A 19-year-old Newburgh man is facing charges in Hopkins County after a recent burglary.

The sheriff’s office says the investigation began Oct. 21 in the 400 block of S. Robinson Street in Earlington.

Deputies say Branden Vincent was named a suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest shortly after.

On October 24, Vincent was located in Warrick County and taken into custody.

Vincent was extradited to the Hopkins County Jail on Nov. 1.

He is being held there on a $20,000 cash bond. The investigation is ongoing.
