Impressively, the Yema Super Compressor doesn’t skimp on its water resistance. Super Compressors have their limits, which is part of the reason they fell out of favor – newer technology and better seals allowed deeper dives. The Christopher Ward Super Compressor reaches 150 m, while the Sherpa and RZE can withstand 200 m of pressure. The Yema, however, manages to top them all with a robust 300m water resistance.

The new French-made watch also has the dimensions of a vintage diver, measuring just 38.5mm, making it the smallest modern Super Compressor on the market. The watch is powered by the YEMA2000 caliber, an in-house motor with a 42-hour power reserve and an accuracy of +/- 10 seconds per day. Again, this sets the Yema apart from other modern Super Compressors as it is the only one with a fully internal movement.

Price and availability

Despite how impressive the new Yema Navygraf Super Compressor might look, it certainly isn’t priced like this. The newest Super Compressor is also the most affordable on the market, priced under $1,000. (RZE does not currently offer the Resolute Supercharger, which had an SRP of just $699.)

There are three strap options for the Navygraf Super Compressor. On a Tropic rubber strapit is $949. On a steel bracelet, it costs $990. Finally, you can get the watch on a FKM Viton rubber strap that repels dust and includes a deployant clasp for $1,129. The watch is available now from Yema in either a black or blue dialdelivery expected at the end of November.
