Police investigate bank robbery in Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) – Greenville Police are investigating after a bank robbery that happened Friday afternoon on Haywood Road.

According to police, the incident happened around 4:11 pm at the United Community Bank on Haywood Road.

Police said a man entered the business wearing a white jumpsuit and presented the teller with a note demanding money. The teller complied and gave the suspect a large sum of money, police said.

Officers said the suspect left the bank without further incident and no weapons were presented.
