Snoop Dogg Teases Dr. Dre-Produced ‘Missionary’ Album With New Track Featuring Jhené Aiko: Listen

His latest single ‘Gorgeous’ is out now ahead of the album’s December 13th release.

Snoop Dogg shares the first taste of his next studio album – but not without a little help from some friends!

On Friday, Nov. 1, the Doggfather himself released “Gorgeous,” the first track from his upcoming album. Missionarywith voice from Jhené Aiko and production from Dr. Dre.

The track comes alongside a corresponding lyric video, as well as the official tracklist for the Dr. Dre-produced album — which features quite a few familiar faces in Snoop’s orbit.

Missionary marks Dr. Dre and Snoop’s first body of work together since the rapper’s 1993 debut LP Doggystyleand the duo will not be alone in the project. Snoop, 53, will join him Tom Petty, Eminem, 50 centsJelly Roll, KAAN, Method Man, Smitty, extinguishedCocoa Sarai, Dem Jointz, Stalone, Fat Money, BJ the Chicago Kid, Alus and Aiko on the upcoming project – which arrives on December 13 via Death Row, Aftermath and Interscope.

While Snoop previously revealed during Bloomberg Screentime Conference earlier this month that he had songs with Sting and Jelly Roll in his new project, it has now been revealed that the Sting team-up will be called ‘Another Part of Me’, while the collaboration with Jelly Roll will also feature the late Tom Petty and will be called ‘Last Dance with Mary Jane’. (Petty and the Heartbreakers had a song called “Mary Jane’s Last Dance”).

“Like a kid who has a crush on someone as a singer and you get a chance to meet them and they give you everything you expected, that happens to me all the time,” Snoop said of meeting Sting, 73. “I meet people. I’ve always wanted to meet and they’re everything I’ve ever wanted them to be.”

Additional tracks on the 15-song album include “Skyscrapers” featuring Method Man and Smitty, “Now or Never” featuring Dre and BJ the Chicago Kid, and the Aiko collaboration “Gorgeous,” out now.

Another great team Missionary is the track “Gunz N Smoke,” which will feature performances from both Eminem and 50 Cent. The two, along with Dr. Dre, joined Snoop earlier this year at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

“Now look at us over 30 years later and we’re still grinding in the studio and you’re still making me do every line 100 times. Still,” Snoop said of Dre, 59, at the event. “And thank you for that, perfectionist. Thank you for being a perfectionist and always pushing me to be great. You always bring out the best in Dogg, Dr. Dre, and I appreciate that.”
