EL CENTRO — The Desert Valley Youth Football & Cheer Conference hosts the annual conference championships for local AYF youth football teams today at Central Union

El Centro High School’s Cal Jones Field.

An affiliate of American Youth Soccer, DVYFCC consists of Blythe, Brawley, Calipatria, El Centro, Holtville and Imperial (760 Elite) youth soccer associations, said Todd Evangelist, president of the El Centro Youth Soccer Association.

Admission will be charged. Cost will be: $7 per adult, $5 for youth (ages 5-13), seniors (60+), military and first responders. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted at the gate. Tickets can be purchased in advance from:
