Do you know them? The suspects are connected to several armed robberies in the Bronx

BRONX, NY — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying people wanted in connection with a string of robberies in the Bronx. The incidents, which took place at several locations in the 40th Precinct, all involved the suspects brandishing knives and robbing victims on the street.

The first robbery happened around 1:50 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, near Bruckner Boulevard and Brook Avenue. A 25-year-old man reported he was approached by two people who brandished a knife and stole his belongings before fleeing eastbound on East 134th Street. The victim was unharmed.

Later that morning, at approximately 6:00 a.m., a second robbery occurred near 3rd Avenue and East 139th Street. Police say a 25-year-old man was similarly approached by two people who brandished a knife and took his property. The suspects fled north on 3rd Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Two days later, on September 30, around 9:05 p.m., an 18-year-old man was robbed in front of 609 Jackson Avenue. Police reported that two suspects approached the victim, displayed a knife and forcibly took his belongings. The victim suffered injuries to his right hand and left knee, but did not require hospitalization. The suspects fled the scene on Westchester Avenue.

Another violent robbery happened on October 1 around 1 a.m. near Willis Avenue and East 138th Street. A 29-year-old man told police he was approached by two people holding a knife, punched him in the face and kicked him after knocking him to the ground. The suspects stole his property and fled on foot along Willis Avenue. The victim was later transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.

The most recent incident in this pattern occurred on October 4th at approximately 5:30 pm in front of 438 East 148th Street. An 18-year-old man was approached by a group of five individuals who brandished a knife and forcibly removed his property. The suspects fled west on East 148th Street. The victim reported no injuries.

The NYPD has released media images of the suspects in the Oct. 4 incident and urges anyone with information about the individuals or these incidents to contact authorities.
