Jury trial for Atlas Power civil lawsuit scheduled for April 2025

WILLISTON, ND (KUMV) – A trial date has been set for next spring in the lawsuit against Atlas Power over its data center west of Williston.

At a scheduling conference Thursday, both sides agreed to a two-week jury trial from April 14-25. Six jurors and one alternate will be sworn in. Northwestern District Court Judge Kristen Sjue will preside.

A total of 22 residents who live near the data center are suing Atlas and seeking relief for excessive noise claims.

The next court appearance is a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 31.
