Woman and dog found dead in Kalamazoo County, suspect arrested

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI – A woman’s body was found Saturday night and Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating her death as a homicide.

Deputies say a suspect has been arrested in connection with her death and there is no threat to the public.

Deputies found the woman dead after being dispatched to the 100 block of N. Main St. on Saturday, October 26, around 10:00 p.m. in the village of Climax, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office.

There, deputies also found a dead dog.

Deputies arrested a suspect at the scene and booked him into the Kalamazoo County Jail pending criminal charges.

Deputies have not released further details about the woman or the suspect.
