JOHANNESBURG – Mass shootings in South Africa are not a new tragedy, but what is the way forward to reduce them.

Last month, citizens were shocked when seventeen people, including 15 women, were killed in two mass shootings that happened close to each other.

Many crime experts say the increase in violent crime is linked to the availability of illegal firearms. What are some of the solutions to this.
