Look for some of the staff in costume, and patrons are welcome to join in the fun by wearing clothing, accessories or a costume to tie in with each month’s theme. It’s optional, of course. Families are welcome at one of the scariest themed Halloween brunches.

Spooky Cape May

Harry’s Bar and Grille in Cape May is unleashing the spirits with the debut of Harry’s Boo Bar, its first Halloween-themed pop-up experience. Harry’s will be transformed into a haunted pirate lair, complete with spooky decor, eerie lighting and an ambiance to raise the dead until November 2.

Hours are Wednesday and Thursday noon to 9 p.m., Friday noon to 10 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“After the runaway success of Harry’s Jingle Bar (Christmas Pop-up) in 2023, we’re back with Cape May’s first Halloween-themed bar,” said Dan Alicea, owner of Madison Resorts. “Our team had so much fun with Jingle Bar and the community reaction was so amazing that we immediately said we wanted to put a Halloween spin on the idea.”

To complement the ghostly setting, Bar Boo offers a macabre cocktail menu designed to thrill! Enjoy a smoky Davy Jones, Blackbeard’s brave rum served in an intravenous blood bag, or take a sip of the devilishly delightful Captain Jack O’ Lantern.
