Three Indian schools win World’s Best School Awards 2024

Three schools in India have been awarded the World’s Best School Awards 2024. This marks a breakthrough year with Ryan International School in Delhi, CM RISE School Vinoba in Madhya Pradesh and Kalvi International Public School in Tamil Nadu emerging victorious in various award categories. .

Each of these schools has won awards for its unique approach to education, innovation and community engagement.

of Delhi Ryan International School received World’s Best School for Environmental Action Award. Known for its eco-friendly initiatives such as hydroponics and biogas plants, the school has been proactive in addressing issues such as water scarcity and pollution.

With his $10,000 prize, Ryan plans to expand his sustainable projects and even launch a start-up incubator to encourage student-led environmental initiatives.

“We are extremely excited that our Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj, has been crowned as a Global Champion for Environmental Action in 2024,” said Grace Pinto, Managing Director.

“We thank our Lord Jesus Christ for this great honor and we are grateful to T4 Education for recognizing our efforts,” he added.

from Madhya Pradesh CM RISE Vinoba School won the title in Innovation category. Originally founded as a school for tribal girls in an urban slum, CM RISE has grown into a full-fledged school from Kindergarten to High School. Its mission focuses on empowering marginalized communities through progressive education, making it a standout in the competition.

In Community Choice Award category, Kalvi International Public School in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, emerged victorious, chosen from a shortlist of 50 schools. This recognition highlights Kalvi’s commitment to community engagement, uplifting local communities through targeted educational initiatives.

As a nation, India’s three-pronged victory underscored the country’s global position in progressive education.

“For India to triumph in not one but three schools shows that the nation’s institutions are truly among the best in the world,” said Vikas Pota, founder of T4 Education. He expressed hope that these schools inspire governments to see what is possible when education strives to address society’s greatest challenges.
