JESSUP, Md. (Gray News) – Dozens of people have been hospitalized with food poisoning after eating food that one of their co-workers brought to work in Maryland.

right Howard County Health Departmentparamedics were called to NAFCO Wholesale Seafood Distributors in response to a report of “several patients with food poisoning after allegedly eating the same food.”

Health officials reported that 46 adults were taken to the hospital, but all patients were in non-critical condition.

Tuesday, October 22, officials said the illness was linked to outside food prepared by an employee and shared with others at work.

The workers reportedly fell ill about an hour after eating a noodle dish.

NAFCO added that this was an isolated event and that they have now changed their policy of not allowing any outside food on the premises.
