How much more chaos have the Vanderbilt Commodores left in them?

The ranked one Vanderbilt Commodores were one of the biggest signs of chaos this season and a stacked schedule for the second half gives them plenty of opportunities to create even more.

Bleacher Report’s Adam Kramer created a list of the college football teams most likely to wreak havoc in the second half of the season and listed the Commodores among the contenders.

“You could argue that no team has created more chaos than Vanderbilt. It first appeared when this group almost won Missouri. The Commodores conquered Alabama a game later, sending shockwaves through the sport,” Kramer said. “They probably won’t be favored in (the remaining big games), although recent history tells us that doesn’t exactly matter. Quarterback Diego Pavia can create magicand the teams in the program won’t sleep on him or this program anymore.”

The remaining Vanderbilt schedule is as follows:

October 26: no. 5 Texas Longhorns home
November 2: Auburn Tigers on the road
November 9: South Carolina Gamecocks home
November 16: Farewell
November 23: no. 8 LSU Tigers on the road
November 30: no. 7 Tennessee Volunteers home

There are three currently ranked teams left on the schedule and two of them are at home. The Commodores should have as much of a chance to pull off an upset as anyone.

Next on the list of potential upsets is the Longhorns, who are coming off a splash at the hands of the Georgia Bulldogs.

This will be one of the most anticipated matches of the weekend and it is probably the hardest challenge which the Commodores have yet faced.

Even if they only have one indeed impressive win this season, Texas has the talent to beat anyone bad on any given day.

If Vanderbilt can repeat what the Mississippi State Bulldogs did to make this game an upset, maybe they can make something happen.

Death Valley’s night game against the Tigers, whose defense has found new life, may just be the toughest game on the schedule given the environment.

Most of the Commodores have their eyes on a certain upset, however, during rivalry week against the Volunteers.

Tennessee is a very beatable team despite their top 10 ranking. All of their SEC games have all been within 10 points and the last three have been by one touchdown.

While they won’t be favored to win any of these games, taking at least one of them is within reach.
