Police appeal after attempted robbery in Dudley left man with cuts to his head

The appeal also released an image of a man West Midlands Police said they want to speak to following an incident in Dudley in October.

The incident saw a man assaulted during an attempted robbery on Birmingham Road which took place at around 10am on October 5 and left the man with a cut to his head.

West Midlands Police said the attacker fled the scene empty-handed and appealed for anyone with any information to get in touch, either via live chat on the West Midlands Police website or by calling 101.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We want to speak to this man after another man was assaulted during an attempted robbery in Dudley.

“The victim suffered a cut to the head off Birmingham Road just before 10am on October 5.

“The attacker made off empty-handed and we’re asking anyone with information to contact us via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101 quoting 20/900813/24.”
