The new season of the popular Netflix series Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives is airing on Netflix and has already caught the attention of the audience. The latest season sees the entry of 3 newcomers: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shalini Passi and Kalyani Saha Chawla and gives a glimpse into their personal lives. Delhi socialite Kalyani recently revealed on the show that she still uses her ex-husband and businessman Vishal Chawla’s surname so that her daughter has a sense of family. While Kalyani has been a popular figure over the years, fans know little about her ex-husband.

Vishal Chawla is the son of Ravi and Mina Chawla, who founded the premium interior design company Ravissant in the 1980s. He is a director in the family firm, along with his sisters Charu and Malini Chawla. Ravissant is a chain of luxury boutiques in Delhi and Mumbai, known for their high-end Indian handicrafts and luxury goods. The brand sells premium decor, including furniture, cutlery and other luxury goods.

Vishal Chawla completed his schooling in England and went on to obtain a BBA. He then joined Swiss bankers who were building a luxury goods manufacturing company and helped establish their headquarters in London. After working with Swiss financiers and their luxury businesses, he returned to Delhi to start his own business. He entered the business of manufacturing luxury leather goods. Vishal Chawla met Kalyani Saha Chawla in 1995 after moving from Kolkata to Delhi. Later, they became business and life partners. However, their marriage ended when their daughter Tahira was two years old.

As per the reports, the popular couple had a bitter divorce. Although Kalyami did not ask for alimony, she asked for a 3 bhk house and her daughter’s education to be sponsored by her father-in-law Ravi Chawla.

Meanwhile, Kalpana Saha Chawla and newcomers have joined the star cast from previous seasons: Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari Soni, Seema Sajdeh and Bhavana Pandey. The season shows a battle of personalities as well as lifestyles between the veteran stars from Mumbai and the newcomers from Delhi. The rivalry between these two cities provides an interesting backdrop to the action that unfolds. The show is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Production and actors like Sanjay Kapoor, Chunky Pandey and Sameer Soni make recurring appearances on the show.
