TULSA, Oklahoma. –

A man arrested in New York while trying to leave the country following the Tulsa murder is currently in custody at the Tulsa County Jail.

Blake McDonell, identified as the suspect in the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend near East 4th Place and South Harvard Avenue earlier this month, was jailed overnight.

According to Tulsa Police, McDonell was detained by authorities in New York while trying to board a flight to Paris.

He is currently being held on $5 million bail.
