Riley Reid Reveals What Happened After DMing A Celeb She ‘Wanted To Hook Up With So Bad’

Riley Reid has opened up about the weird way she tried to get the attention of celebrities she liked.

Reid, real name Ashley Mathews, has been shooting adult content since 2010, but says she “doesn’t enjoy” doing it as much now.

With a husband and a daughter, she changed her outlook on her life and career as she said Forbidden Shadow podcast about discovering herself and this next part of her life.

“It’s been really fun, it’s definitely been a different identity process where I’ve been trying to figure out who this new version of myself is,” she said.

“And just like I remember having my identity crisis when I was in porn, feeling like ‘who am I?’ and like “what is this?”.

“And now I’m trying to check myself in, trying to be a parent and be like a business person and that’s been really interesting.”

He is considered to be one of the highest earning figures on OnlyFans as he is estimated to earn around $25,000 (£19,900) a day and has a net worth of around $19m (£15m).

Reid has made some changes in her career over the years, having announced that she would no longer shoot scenes with male co-stars.

She told the What they don’t tell you podcast that working in the adult industry had made dating life difficult as “they first knew me in their minds as Riley” and she had to “teach them that I’m Ashley”.

Now married, she doesn’t make a habit of sliding into the DMs of celebrities she’s dated, but she did talk about a method she used.

She appeared in Stiff socks (try not to think about it too much) podcast and talked about sliding into the DMs of celebrities he liked.

Reid was chatting with the hosts about Photoshop when he said that had been his way of trying to talk to celebrities.

“This was my way of slipping into celebrity DMs, like I used to Photoshop,” he told them. “Dillon Francis, I wanted to hook up with him so many years ago, so I would photograph his face on different guys like me, in my porn scenes.

“I would just text him and be like ‘thinking of you.’

“He was nice, but we never went out or anything.”

One thing she isn’t too happy about being married with a child is something she saw coming a mile away, people bashing her son online.

She posted a video in which she spoke about the behaviour, saying: ‘The amount of people leaving mean comments about my baby is crazy to me.

“Grow up. Stop being mean to a baby.”
