Devon cyclist walked away with life-changing injuries from collision

A cyclist has suffered “life-changing injuries” in a road collision in Devon, police say.

The incident happened in Forder Valley Road, Plymouth, at around 12.45pm BST on Saturday and involved a gray Audi A7 car.

The cyclist, a man in his 60s from Plymouth, was taken to the city’s Derriford Hospital, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Forder Valley Road was closed for around two hours to allow officers to carry out an investigation and for the recovery of the vehicle.
