Actress Omoni Oboli reveals why she lost a movie role

Nigerian actress and filmmaker, Omoni Oboli, has narrated how she lost a movie role because she refused to kiss a movie director.

Omoni explained that the incident happened when she returned to Nigeria after taking a break to raise her children abroad.

“A director asked me to kiss him at an audition, and I couldn’t understand why he would. So I said, “Is this an audition?” and he said, “yeah, I just want to see him” and I said “sorry, I can’t because I didn’t see any reason to kiss you, the director, when we’re not on set.
“And so I was like ‘oh, I’m sorry, I can’t’. Guess what? I didn’t get the part I was traveling for and I ended up traveling back without playing the part.”
