The UPS store on Jackson Street has a new Amazon returns kiosk

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) – The UPS Store on Jackson Street is gearing up for the busy Christmas season to help customers get in and out quickly.

They introduced a new kiosk that allows customers to skip the line for Amazon returns and drop off labeled packages. With this feature, customers can simply scan and go, saving valuable time during the busy holiday season.

Store owner Judy Perkins emphasized the importance of convenience for customers this time of year.

“This kiosk is really great for helping people move quickly,” she said. “We know their time is important, so the better prepared they are, the faster we can serve them.”

Judy also shared some tips for those planning to send gifts. With costs rising due to inflation, she pointed out that the price of shipping is mainly affected by the size of the box, its weight and the zip code of destination.

In addition, The UPS Store now offers professional packaging services for fragile items with guaranteed packaging and delivery. To accommodate holiday shoppers, the store will have extended hours: Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 3:00pm.
