Danica Patrick reveals her stance on transgender athletes in a controversial post

Danica Patrick has once again made headlines for her outspoken views on transgender athletes in women’s sports.

Patrick’s position is based on his belief that biological differences, including hormonal variations, create an uneven playing field. He argues, citing scientific observations, that men generally have at least ten times the amount of testosterone than women, a factor that contributes significantly to superior muscle mass, size and strength.

The former host addressed the debate earlier this month during an interview with former Wall Street investor Codie Sanchez. She explained, as previously reported by Newsweek Sports:

“I was a girl in a boy’s sport. There are some real hormonal physiological reasons why men shouldn’t compete in women’s sports. When it comes to strength, when it comes to power, size, those things they’re very different. Men have at least 10 times the testosterone that women do, which is something that helps build lean muscle and gives you size, mass and power, it’s totally unfair.”

Adding to his earlier comments, Patrick has since posted a provocative graphic to his Instagram story, Outkick.com reports, which has since expired. The chart, which presumably pokes fun at transgender athletes, shows the number of testicular injuries in women’s sports increasing dramatically from 2020.

Patrick has often been in the public eye recently, especially as he has moderated events for JD Vance and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Additionally, Patrick has publicly shown his support for former President Donald J. Trump. Speaking about his political views, Patrick previously commented:

“People didn’t like that. People looked at me like I was a radical right-wing MAGA. MAGA has this horrible connotation for so many people and you know what? All it did was start a fire.

“I’m not going to be judged for living in America, being a proud American, saying ‘I love America’ and wanting to make America great again. I’m not going to be judged for that. Instead of calming down— me, I’ll get stronger!

“I grew up in a middle-class family. My parents love their garden; they still do. But my parents instilled in me very good values. They instilled in me values to dream big, to be honest, and to work hard hard”.

He also commented:

“That’s where I stand on SOME current affairs and politics. I’m not a liberal. I’m halfway between Republicans and independents,” he said.

“I think our country should be run by someone who knows business and has integrity. I think we should be able to speak freely.

“I love this country, and I have lived in other places. I think when people of different opinions talk face to face, we realize that we are more alike than different.

“I don’t believe everything anyone says. I’ve been really torn over the years whether I should give myself some politics or just live the life I want to lead by example. I’ve been doing the latter. The reaction of today is certainly interesting … because all I said was, I love this country.”
