Northumbria PCC promises to tackle misogyny “Andrew Tate-style”.

A Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) has vowed to tackle the “toxic”. Andrew Tateyouth-type attitudes.

Northumbria PCC Susan Dungworth is launching a series of short films following concerns that young people are being exposed to the influencer’s misogynistic views.

Delivered in partnership with Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland, the resources will be available to schools, youth leaders and educators to help those who have felt “left in the dark” about how to approach the subject.

Ms Dungworth said: “If we allow distorted views to get into people’s minds, we allow them to potentially develop into abusive and violent behaviour.”
