Angel Reese reveals that Caitlin Clark was burned by a disgruntled fan

Angel Reese may not always have time to talk to every fan, but she always has time to see a hater.

On today’s episode of the Chicago Sky frontman’s “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, which featured a guest appearance from Memphis rapper GloRilla, he shared a rather confusing rant he recently received from someone claiming to be a fan . The interaction took place after Reese was unable to sign some merchandise presented to him by the so-called fan.

“Sometimes I’m busy, like, I can’t sign everything,” Reese said. “One guy said, ‘That’s why you’re not rookie of the year, and this white girl is better than you.’

The white girl in question, likely Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, who was named the WNBA Rookie of the Year earlier this month. Fortunately, Reese shrugged it off, but he was still confused by the interaction.

“I’m like…” Okay. You wanted me to sign yours, and now you don’t like me anymore,” Reese said.

In the words of GloRilla on her hit single “Tomorrow,” Reese might “get (her) feelings hurt today,” but “she won’t care tomorrow.”

No matter what happens to him, Reese will never lose his focus on the game. And elsewhere on the podcast, she explained to Glo that she’s always been that way, even as a child. She even offered a hilarious response to those who were confused about her and her basketball partner, brother Julian, and their very small age difference.

It’s safe to say that Reese and Glo’s conversation was therapeutic, but it was also laugh-out-loud funny.
