Universal Orlando reveals opening date for new theme park

(CNN) – Universal Orlando Resort announced the opening date of its highly anticipated new theme park, ‘Epic Universe’.

It will open on May 22, 2025, just before Memorial Day weekend.

The new park will be the largest of the complex’s three theme parks.

It’s part of a 750-acre development that will double the size of Universal’s footprint in Orlando.

Epic Universe will consist of 5 “worlds”: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon and Dark Universe and Celestial Park.
